Bill is Managing Director, Europe for BAMTECH Media, the leading provider of OTT solutions to premium content owners and rights holders, including MLB, NHL, WWE, PGA Tour, MLS, Eurosport, HBO and Fox Sports. Bill joined BAMTECH in 2015 and recently moved to Amsterdam to lead the European expansion of BAMTECH’s technology services business through BAMTECH Europe, a joint venture with Discovery Communications. Prior to joining BAMTECH, Bill was at CBS Interactive for 10 years, where he was VP & General Manager of CBS News Digital. In that role, he was responsible for developing and managing the digital properties of CBS News, including CBSN, the first 24/7 OTT broadcast news network. Named a Broadcasting & Cable Digital All Star in 2015, Bill and the team at CBS News also won multiple awards, including Edward R Murrow awards in 2013 and 2015. Bill has an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA and Masters in International Relations from Columbia University.
Elsa Memmi was appointed NBA Vice President Global Media Distribution, EMEA in 2013 and currently oversees the NBA’s media content distribution business across EMEA, licensing all media assets to TV and digital. She joined the NBA in January 2008, and was tasked with creating the International Media team following the NBA’s European headquarters’ move from Paris to London that year. The team of nine she assembled, boasting seven languages combined, looks after 70 broadcast and digital partners spanning over 134 countries who feature content in over 40 languages. Elsa plays a crucial role in maximizing the ways content is made available, maintaining a strategic focus on the development of digital offerings to partners, as well as direct-to-consumer, providing fans with myriad ways to experience the NBA. Under Elsa's leadership, the NBA launched the primetime “NBA Sundays” initiative allowing fans in EMEA access to live games being played at a consistent timeslot of 9.30pm every Sunday and creating a regular appointment to experience a live game, inclusive of coverage of in-arena entertainment’s best moments.
Bhavesh Patel is currently the Chief Digital Officer at beIN Media Group based in Paris. He is working on building their next generation global OTT platform and driving innovation across the group. Prior, Bhavesh was an OTT strategy advisor for CBS Studios International and Verizon Go90, headed up Betfair’s US horserace wagering business, and led the launch of FOX Soccer 2 Go and NBA International League Pass.
Thierry Pascal has lead the PGA TOUR’s international media business since 2012. Based out of the PGA TOUR headquarters in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Thierry manages a team based in the US, London, Beijing and Tokyo. He has overseen the growth of the media business that now worldwide sees PGA TOUR tournaments broadcast to more than 1.1 billion households in 227 countries and territories in 23 languages. Born in London, Thierry has worked in the sports media business for over 20 years, including postings in the UK, Middle East and Singapore with Sportsworld and Parallel Media Group. He joined the PGA TOUR in 2004.
Tim has just joined F1 as Head of Products where he leads a small team with ambitious plans for their OTT service moving into the 2018 season. Prior to that he spent nearly 10 years at Sky in various digital product roles across Sports and News, working extensively across their range of mobile applications. In his early career he worked for Setanta Sports, Southampton Football Club and the Southern Daily Echo.
Maria leads the strategic development and manages the day-to-day operations of a team of analysts tracking the evolution of global service providers and operators. She created the team while at Screen Digest, now part of IHS Markit, following that acquisition in 2010. Their research on service providers leverages long-standing relationships with operators in all 70+ markets covered by IHS Markit, resulting in the most comprehensive source of television and operator market intelligence in the world.
Charly Classen is Vice President and General Manager, ESPN – Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), a role he has held since January 2014. He is responsible for the strategic guidance, development and oversight for all of ESPN’s business and operations in the region – including digital media, television syndication, as well as the company’s relationship with BT Sports (who operate an ESPN-branded TV channel). He also is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the region, whether through organic growth, acquisition or partnership.
As VP and General Manager, Tracey Keenan is responsible for WWE’s UK and Ireland business in what is WWE's largest and most successful market outside of the USA. Tracey leads the effort to create and develop growth opportunities for the WWE brand and business. She provides strategic direction and leadership to drive business growth and increase revenue and awareness for all WWE brands and properties, as the company continues to set the standard for global innovation. Her role involves management of business lines including Content Distribution - TV, Digital and WWE’s highly successful OTT platform, the WWE Network; an extensive Live Event touring program, Digital and Sponsorship Sales, Consumer Product Licensing, Marketing, Communications and New Product Development. Prior to joining WWE Tracey has had commercial roles with a number of globally recognized sport, entertainment and media organizations, where she has led partnership, sales and business development programs. She has specialized in rights commercialization and has particular knowledge of Stadium and Arena naming and partnerships, having secured the naming partner at Aviva Stadium and venue partnerships at The O2. In addition, she has led the commercial partnership program at EPL’s Tottenham Hotspur FC, advised the government on its Trade and Investment sponsorship strategy and helped finance major international events such as Robert Redford's inaugural Sundance London Movie and Music Festival.
Simon drives various market development and product marketing activities for NAGRA, the world's leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions designed to connect people to the content they love. His areas of focus include next generation cloud, IP, data and analytics driven TV solutions.
In addition, Simon spearheads the Pay-TV Innovation Forum, a global industry research program developed by NAGRA for senior pay-TV executives which explores the innovations and strategies that will drive the next phases of growth for pay-TV service providers.
Simon has more than 20 years of international software industry experience in strategic and corporate marketing, product management, consulting and new product launches. He holds an MBA in Marketing from McGill University and is a Canadian professional engineer. A seasoned industry speaker, Simon has spent most of his career in Europe, working for international large organizations as well as startups.
Mark is responsible for the overall content creation, technical delivery and digital platform development of the Olympic Channel as well as integrating partnerships with Rights Holding Broadcasters, sponsors, International Sports Federations (IFs) and National Olympic Committees (NOCs). Before joining OCS, Parkman served as the Operations Executive for Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBC) and Vice President of International Sports Broadcasting (ISB), where he oversaw the operations of the host broadcaster for the Olympic Games. Mark was awarded an Emmy for his work on the host broadcaster team for the Olympic Winter Games Salt Lake City 2002, and he recently managed operations for 1,800 hours of televised competition for the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014, overseeing production, engineering, logistics, planning, crewing and broadcaster relations. Mark previously worked in marketing, public relations and international television coordination with Turner Broadcasting System and Cohn & Wolfe, where he led media efforts for the NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR and PGA Golf.
Luke Boyle is Senior Vice President for NeuLion Inc, with particular responsibilities for business development in the EMEA and APAC regions. Since joining NeuLion in 2015, Luke has developed the international business and helped to set up a new NeuLion EMEA HQ with 100 employees. With over 20 years of experience in the Sports Industry, Luke has held senior management positions at Kantar, Press Association, Sportcal, as well as running his own consultancy, ArkSports. Originally an analyst/researcher by trade, he has also consulted to the likes of the NFL, BT Sport, and others on strategy, brand development and technology innovation. In recent years, Luke has focused on business development in the technology space, in the worlds of fantasy sports, anti-piracy and now OTT.
Michele assumed his current role with Eurovision Media Services (EMS) in September 2017 where he oversees the global strategy for sales. Being in the media industry for more than a decade, Michele has a clear understanding of the market and a proven track record maximising revenues. Michele spent 16 years in executive positions at Globecast where he successfully developed new revenue streams and put in place global sales strategies that helped grow the company's core business. In 2013, he became Globecast America's CEO where he raised the company's profile in the US market and positioned Globecast in the digital arena. In 2015, he became Executive Vice President of the newly created Occasional Use and Media Services Division of Globecast before taking his current role with EMS.Michele's international experience includes working in Europe, Asia and North America, including: Paris, Rome, Singapore, and New York. He completed his B.A. in Economics and Finance at Science Po in Strasbourg, France
Louisa has worked at BT (Consumer) since the evolution of BT TV and was heavily involved in the launch of BTSport after BT secured its first set of key rights for the Premier League. Working in Business Development across the BT business, but with a core focus on Sport and TV, Louisa has negotiated commercial agreements with all sizes of partners critical in delivering amazing customer experiences across devices and channels. Building long-term partnerships with rightsholders, broadcast infrastructure suppliers and social media partners with a view to developing new ways to deliver content (Subscription, Free-to-Air, Pay-per-view), whilst bringing value to consumers and the BT TV and BT Sport businesses. Born and raised in the north-east of England but living with her two children in Hertfordshire who keep her on her toes and in touch with what today’s younger consumers demand from content and the viewing experience.
Theo started his career as a truly terrible reporter for BBC local radio but had the good fortune of being let go by the Beeb just as a small Californian outfit called Google launched its UK office. At Google, Theo worked at YouTube managing the Major record labels, bringing Channel 4 onto the platform and launched the Queen's YouTube channel. Seven years and several stone heavier he left the company to head up Digital at Simon Cowell's production company Syco before leaving Cowell for the bright lights of Twitter where he heads up the sport partnerships team focussed on video monetization. He has no idea how to verify anyone on Twitter (before anyone asks) but will happily speak to you about video opportunities on the platform.
Unmish is highly experienced at strategically combining content with commerce, across diverse cultures, ethnicities, behaviors, languages, devices, time and locations, using digital media technologies. He is currently the Global Head of Digital Sales for the International Cricket Council as well as a Founding Partner of Picture Board Pte Ltd. With over 15 years of digital experience, Unmish has a deep understanding of the production, distribution and licensing of sport and news content genres, having worked for large organizations such as News Corp, Fox Sports Asia and ESPN STAR Sports to name a few. Unmish is active in the startup & incubation space in Singapore & India via Picture Board, his private vehicle that advises & invests founders and principal investors in early stage businesses. A thought leader in his space, Unmish also regularly presents and speaks at conferences on a wide variety of topics.

He joined the company nine years ago and he have worked with all big sports right holders: LaLiga, Premier League, UEFA, FIFA, Formula One… and distributors around the world including the traditional ones like Telefonica, SKY, Canal+,… and the new ones Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, YouTube,…
In his beginnings, he worked in the advertising agencies Young & Rubicam and Ruiz Nicoli, managing accounts for fast moving consumer goods industry. Later he moved to the marketing and commercial environment to take charge of the Commercial Communication and the Advertising of the pay TV operator Vía Digital. Before Mediapro he was Director of Sports Rights and New Media Developments at Audiovisual Sport and Sogecable (Canal+).
Fernando is a passionate person around TV evolution. Being a Telecommunications Engineer, joined Telefonica R&D Labs in 1995. As the Manager for the innovation in the Video and Smart Home, in 2008 he created the first OTT VoD product that was launched in Spain, Argentina and Brazil. In 2009, he joined the Global Video Unit becoming the global responsible of Product definition and Strategy for OTT Video. Until 2017, he has been covering the entire value chain as Head of Marketing for Latam region (for IPTV, DTH, CATV and OTT services), Video Business Intelligence, Business Development (partnerships with OTT players, content partners…) and finally Head of TV Products for Latam. In that role, he applied designed the next generation TV UX, aggregating different content and Video services. In May 2017 he has joined Huawei as Director for Video Business in Europe working for strategic projects and consumer division.
